Well, it's always a sad day when my beloved Arkansas Razorbacks lose a game, but when there's an occasion like the one featured below, sometimes you gotta push through and continue the party!
The host of this party has been working for months to make her husband's 30th birthday one to remember. (I did see a few pics from the big day and it's safe to say she succeeded!) We wanted the party invitation to set the tone for the day - football, friends & fun - lots of celebrating!!
Take a look...
Whitney, I'm so sad I had to miss this milestone party. You did a great job on everything, Wesley is lucky to have you!

a buzzin' 1st birthday! - fort smith, arkansas invitation designer
First of all, I just have to say how lucky I am to have such wonderful friends from high school and college alike, that have thought of me when special events have come up in their lives.
This next design is for a pledge sister from my college sorority and her sweet daughter who just turned one! Sarah's sister-in-law found the precious picture below and used it as inspiration for their party theme...
Thus, the inspiration for the party invitation :)...
Sarah loved this party theme but wanted to add in some soft pink as well as the yellow. The honeycomb detail in the background pulled this in.

I hope you had a wonderful first birthday, sweet Adeline - you're a doll! And thank you again "Queen Bee Sarah" for contacting me for your little one's special day. Look forward to more milestones :)

crystal & cole, just (about) married! - little rock, arkansas invitation designer
Crystal and Cole are ready to get married any day now, and some of their closest friends gathered recently to give them one last shower before they say "I do"!
Being so close to their wedding date, Lindy (one of my sweet friends AND Crystal's MOH) came up with this clever idea and play on words. With a chic color scheme, this invitation and the party itself were quite the success. Enjoy!

double delight, a baby shower! - tulsa, oklahoma invitation designer
I've never been more excited that I was to get to design the last two invitations I've shown you (this one and the last).
My best friend since 2nd grade is having TWINS - any day now, btw! - and I was thrilled to design the invitation for her amazing shower! The invitation really needs no explanation, but was inspired by the twin's nursery, and I must say is absolutely fabulous! You can read more about Megan and her twin babes by clicking and going on over to In This Wonderful Life :)
Enjoy!!
Megan you're doing amazing - your strength both emotionally AND physically is truly inspiring! Can't wait to meet little Miss Sloane and that handsome little boy Knox! EEEEEEK!!!!

a surprise 30th! - texarkana & little rock invitation designer
Happy Monday everyone!
This invitation (and the one coming up next for that matter) is especially important to me as it was honoring a surprise for my one and only brother, and his milestone 30th birthday! I love my brother so much (and I'm not just saying that) and I know he would do anything in the world for me. We have a great relationship and have so many quirky similarities that I know he and I both have come to love in each other - sorry to those that happen to be around us when we get off on some tangent about a ridiculously stupid commercial! The things we share and laugh about might not always make sense to others but it's just one of our things. We've been through some tough experiences in our lives that only he and I can understand and relate to with one another. He's smart, funny, kind, compassionate, outgoing (well, perhaps that's an understatement) and is a wonderful friend to many, as can be seen in the number of people that traveled to celebrate his birthday with him! I'm so proud to have a brother like him - and I was so excited to help plan a special surprise for his birthday!
The invitations are below and a few pictures are thrown in from the details at the party!
So glad you were surprised, brother! I love you Marshall!
