3W turns 3!

Last fall, I had the pleasure of designing a wonderful magazine that highlights all the amazing nonprofit organizations in Northwest Arkansas. The founders of the magazine include a former co-worker of mine and I was honored when she asked me if I'd be interested in designing the magazine for 2011, it's third year in publication.

3W Magazine focuses on the "who, what & where" of Northwest Arkansas nonprofits. If there is an event happening in NWA, then 3W Magazine will tell you about it and they will be there!

To celebrate the magazine turning 3, the ladies of 3W threw a little party. I had the pleasure of creating the invite for this special event...







The party was a great success and 3W was happy to present a check to the nonprofit organization that the reader's voted as their favorite!

Holiday Spirit

Here at Sylvia Rose Design, we had the honor of designing two different Christmas cards for clients. First, Pagnozzi Charities, who grants sports scholarships to underprivileged kids.

Secondly, 3W Magazine wanted a whimsical holiday card to send out to their best clients,
incorporating their signature light blue color throughout.

FIESTA Couples Baby Shower - whaaat???

I started with the background to give it a festive look. Then on to the couple, blonde daddy and cute ginger mommy. Liven up the packages with some bright colors and fun patterns. Finally, add a sombrero and some maracas at their feet and we're done! I hope this invite had the couple saying Ole! for baby!

Ooh La La!

A friend of mine, Rebecca, contacted me to design a shower invitation for a multitude of things for her best friend, Amber. Combining a spa shower with a lingerie shower started out as quite a task! We chose a simple, girly design for the invite because there were going to be grandmothers on the guest list and decided it would be best not to paste bras and panties all over for them to see! I think it turned out super cute and appropriate for the occasion. Enjoy!

A Blue "I Do"

Over the next week, I'm going to attempt to get caught up on showing the designs I've done for various things... since MAY. I hope you enjoy seeing them!

Carrie and Kris were married in July at a beautiful chapel in Bella Vista, with the reception at a Yacht Club overlooking the lake. They chose a palette of blues for their theme. The invitation and response card were printed on an art linen cardstock that gave it a more organic look and felt great to the touch, too!
