modern elegance - fayetteville, ar wedding invitation designer

Well I feel I've waited long enough to finally unveil (pun intended) this wedding invitation set. I posted a sneak peek here and featured some inspiration for a black & white palette on facebook here. I don't think you can ever go wrong with black and white!

This invitation really needs no explanation - it embodies elegance with the clean lines and romantic script, while also maintaining a sense of modernism with the bold stripes. As I think I mentioned before, the bride is going to accent the bold black & white and pull in a bright canary yellow and shades of rich raspberry in the wedding flowers and decor. I can't wait to see how it all turns out - I'll be sure to stalk the photographer's website and ask (beg) for some shots of napkins and favors that feature the couple's custom wedding monogram.

So without further ado...

So now are you wondering if you can go unnoticed for crashing these nuptials? Don't worry, I won't tell ;). Hope you enjoyed the unveiling!

sneak peek sunday

Last week I had a rushed invite request for a 50th birthday celebration in, oh... two weeks!  From whom, you may ask? None other than my mother! She told me all about it and then added, "Oh, I didn't even think to ask if you had time!?"  Ha!  Well, I decided to let her slide this once and crank something out... I'll do the full reveal a little close to party time. The teaser...

One thing I can say about this party is... Olé!

Happy Easter Sunday!!

baby inspiration!

There are tons of things out there on a daily basis that provide creative inspiration for a designer - but what could be more inspiring than precious new life!  I'm so excited to have two precious new "nieces"in my life, introduced into the world in just the last two months!

The first being Amy's sweet Zoe Elizabeth, who's shower I posted about here.   Here is teeny, tiny Z, weighing in at less that 6 lbs...

And secondly, Katie welcomed her second baby girl, Miss Chloe Beth, into this world just last Sunday! She's beautiful, just like her big sister Molly - who's announcement from almost two years ago you can see here!  Here's sweet C, all 9 pounds and 22 inches of her....

All these babies inspire me with soft colors and images, and get me excited for all the milestones to come in the future in their lives and that of my own being able to play with these sweet babes! It goes without saying, but I'm so thrilled for my best friends, their healthy beautiful babies, and their ever growing families. Next up on the baby front: Megan's perfect twins - and even better - one of each! Can't wait to meet baby girl and baby boy Marshall!
