Kipton turns ONE! - little rock, ar invitation designer

As you can see, my clients can't seem to get enough of monkies lately!  I was so excited to design these monkey invitations for Kipton and Harper (see here), pretty much back to back. And then I had to wait for what seemed like forever to reveal them (Their mommies were on the ball!)
Kipton's party was this past Saturday and I'm sure they had a wonderful time! Congrats little man, I know your parents would say you're growing up way too fast!

Thanks Lindsay, for letting me play a part in your little one's big day!

harper turns one! - fayetteville, ar invitation designer

Harper Cain turned the big O-N-E yesterday and I've been anxiously and patiently waiting to show you all this adorable invitation! Harper's mommy is a friend of mine and came to me with a color scheme and monkey theme for her little one's first birthday. She had found an adorable monkey t-shirt online and the colors were a vibrant yellow and yummy teal. I edited a monkey illustration I'd previously done to look more like the monkey on the t-shirt and I think she was very pleased. She was so great to work with and has wonderful taste in just about everything, so I know his party was absolutely fabulous!

Happy First Birthday sweet Harper - You're a doll! - and here's to many many more! Sarah and Derek, you've created an adorable little boy!

P.S. Yet another little monkey will be celebrating his first birthday this coming weekend as well! Be on the lookout for that invite coming soon.

Cute as a Button!

One of my best friends just had her precious baby girl at the end of February. I was honored to help host a shower for her and was looked at to design the shower invite. After perusing the internet for ideas, Katie suggested the theme of "cute as a button" and we ran with it. Amy planned to use many colors in little Zoe's nursery, but told us to focus on chocolate brown, lime green and a splash of blue (we later added in pink to the decor, of course!)

I printed food labels to for the tables, designed to match the invitation...

A close up of the invitation, framed for decor beside the guest book.

I couldn't talk about the shower without highlighting some more of the food and decor...

Everyone out-did themselves and the shower was a huge success, with Amy and baby Zoe being showered beyond belief!

Welcome to the world baby Zoe, we love you so much already!
